Joshua Caldwell has been engaged in filmmaking for eight years. Beginning with screenwriting, he then moved into film production in high school where he created several different film projects, including an award-winning film on teen suicide, an award-winning school leadership film, and an award-winning doc*mentary on the college application process, in addition to a number of ASB Leadership films he produced over the course of two years. A graduate of Fordham University in New York City, Josh has written, produced and directed thirteen short films, eight of them within the past four years.
Josh was awarded the first ever MTV Movie Award for Best Student Filmmaker at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards where he recieved the Golden Popcorn from presented Zack Braff.
He has just finished directed a new series on mtvU called the Ronnie Day Project, a episodic music video series based on the music of Ronnie Day.
