Thank you for considering LITTLE CANYON, my UCLA MFA thesis project. It was selected for the 2008 UCLA Director's Spotlight as well as for the upcoming 2009 Sundance Film Festival. It's a personal story I wrote, produced, directed and edited.

Olivia Silver grew up in Connecticut and California. After earning a B.A. in English at Williams College, she worked in book publishing and foreign policy before turning to filmmaking. She recently completed the MFA directing program at UCLA, where she wrote and directed four short films. Olivia has worked for the Nantucket Film Festival and for directors John Sayles and Hany Abu-Assad. Her most recent film, LITTLE CANYON, was an official selection of the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

Wild Strawberries, The Beat That My Heart Skipped, La Cienega, The Squid and the Whale, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Amores Perros, Late August, Early September
