Originally from Denver, Colorado, Jonas Mayabb now resides in Los Angeles where he is harvesting his career as a commercial director. Before graduating as valedictorian with a BFA in Film from Art Center College of Design, he gained employment as an actor and then later furthered his education by working in commercial production as well as in the art department on such feature films as The Hulk, The Chronicles of Riddick, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Superman.

This well-rounded experience has resulted in Jonas earning a Clio, two Young Directors Awards at Cannes, a National Addy and now an Emmy. Winner of both Non-European Film School and CFP-E/shots Young Director awards this year, Jonas Mayabb has been snapped up by Hollywood's HKM for representation in the US.
